Our gin features some of the world’s oldest botanicals
It’s a natural progression, from operating hotels in Western Australia to expanding into our Perth Distillery.
We couldn’t find a gin that really jumped out as a taste of Australia, so we decided to create Lizard Dragon Distillers with a focus on native botanicals and engaging local Indigenous
landowners and communities to harvest local botanicals to create a flavour unique to Australia.
We have as shareholders: Rayleen Brown of Kungkas Can Cook, who is leading the drive to develop the use of native botanicals in Australian restaurant menus from Alice Springs, Tim Harrison, who is our Master Distiller with over 20 years experience within the industry, and Adam Giles, who brings a wealth of knowledge from several industries throughout Australia.
The artworks on our bottles are designed to highlight the brilliance and diversity of Aboriginal art. Each of our bottles feature designs purchased from local Indigenous Artists from Central Australia with the proceeds to supporting families and further business interests.
